the printoom studio

Sunday 15 September 2024
3.00 pm – 6.00 pm

Indelible M.jpg

We are delighted to present a preview of our 2024 festival at the Printroom Studio in Sweffling, Suffolk

Poets Clare Best, Fiona Moore, Jacqueline Saphra, Paul Stephenson, Robert Stein and Tamar Yoseloff will read their own work in response to Monica Petzal’s exhibition Indelible Marks: The Dresden Project, as well as poems by leading writers performing at this year’s festival.

They will be joined by special guest, the British/Hungarian poet and translator George Szirtes (at left), whose poems on memory, legacy and migration are a fitting dialogue with this exhibition.

The event – which includes tea and cake – is free, but donations to secure the future of the festival are very welcome. We will be holding a raffle on the day with prizes including book bundles from 2024 festival authors.
